The journal
Write or speak
Tap the circle to open your journal. Typing never leaves your device. Voice uses your browser's speech service, which does.

Everything you've saved. Tap an entry to open it. Anything you locked asks for your PIN first.

Pick something you'd never say by accident. Write or say it three times in a minute while journaling and your circle gets a quiet text.

Set a timer before you head out. Your circle is told you're on your way. If the timer runs out you get three minutes to check in — then they're asked to call you.

Hiding it
Press and hold the circle
Hold it for about a second and a half. Every trace of the safety features disappears — including this page — and the app is just a journal. Your word still works.
Getting it back
Press and hold the circle again. It stays hidden until you do, even after you close the app.
Good to know
Locking an entry encrypts it with a 4-digit code. Everything else is stored on your device, unencrypted, and never uploaded.
Your circle is two to four people who'd notice if something felt off. They get a text when you add them and can opt out any time.
Leaving quickly. The Leave button in the corner — or Escape twice — closes this and opens a weather search. It can't clear your browser history.
